Teams
Welcome to the powerhouse of PrioMind – Teams! Whether you're a solo decision-making dynamo or part of a collaborative crew, teams are your ticket to unlocking PrioMind's full potential.
In PrioMind, teams are workspaces for:
- Individuals looking to supercharge their decision-making with advanced features
- Groups of people who regularly join forces in decision-making processes
Think of a team as your decision-making dream team. It consists of one or more members and is priced per member (check out our subscriptions for the nitty-gritty). Members are the masterminds who manage decisions and steer the process – while advisors can be invited to contribute their wisdom through ratings and comments at no extra cost.
Teams have higher usage limits (i.e., number of decisions) compared to the basic workspace "My Decisions" that comes as default with each account. Decisions created in a team also benefit from shared resources like custom criteria sets and advisor pools.
People in a team can have different roles with different privileges: member or owner. The size of a team in terms of members is limited by the team's subscription.
MEMBERS VS. ADVISORS
Here's the scoop: team members are your decision-making MVPs, managing the show and incurring costs based on your subscription. Advisors, on the other hand, are your on-demand experts, contributing ratings and comments without adding to your bill. It's like having a team of consultants on speed dial! For more on advisors, dive into our advisors guide.
Members
Team members are the users who:
- Create and fully manage new decisions
- Set up decision options and descriptions
- Steer the decision-making process
- Create and configure a team's criteria sets and advisor pools
- Rate options and comment on decisions
Unlike advisors, who are limited to rating and commenting, members have full control over the decision-making process.
Owners
A team owner is a special type of member with extra privileges for team management. Users who create a team are automatically appointed the role of owner.
An owner's privileges are:
- Renaming the team
- Inviting people as members or owners
- Promoting members to owners
- Demoting other owners to regular members
- Revoking memberships
- Deleting the team and all of its data
LIMITATIONS OF SINGLE OWNERSHIP
Hold your horses! PrioMind requires at least one owner per team to keep the ship sailing smoothly. This means owners can't jump ship as long as they're the sole captain. Single owners need to promote another team member to co-captain before they can step down.
Similarly, owners can't demote themselves to regular crew members. This needs to be done by another owner. If you're flying solo as an owner, promote a trustworthy team member to co-pilot first, enabling them to adjust your role if needed.
RECOMMENDATION
Pro tip: Always aim for a minimum of two owners per team. It's like having a co-pilot – it helps avoid turbulence in team management and keeps your decision-making journey smooth sailing!
