Advisors
Advisors are people you invite to contribute their expertise to a decision — without occupying a paid seat on your team. They can rate options and leave comments, bringing diverse perspectives into your decision-making process at no additional cost.
Think of advisors as your on-demand panel of experts: colleagues from other departments, external consultants, stakeholders who should have a voice but don't need full team access.
How Advisors Work
- Invite them from within a decision's settings by entering their email address.
- They receive an invitation and sign up for a free PrioMind account (if they don't already have one).
- They can then rate options against the decision's criteria and leave comments.
- Their ratings factor into scores and confidence levels just like team member ratings.
ADVISORS ARE FREE
Advisors don't count toward your team's member limit or subscription cost. You only pay for team members who manage decisions. This means you can get input from as many people as you need without worrying about your bill.
Advisors vs. Members
| Members | Advisors | |

The key distinction: members run the decision-making process; advisors contribute to it.
Personal Decisions
For personal decisions (those in your default "My Decisions" workspace), you can invite up to 2 advisors per decision. This keeps personal decisions lightweight while still giving you access to outside perspectives when you need them.
Team Decisions
For decisions within a team, the number of advisors per decision is not limited by PrioMind. Invite as many as your decision requires.
Pools
Advisor pools are a team-level feature that lets you maintain a reusable list of advisors. Instead of entering email addresses for every new decision, you can invite directly from your pool.
This is especially useful for teams that regularly consult the same set of stakeholders or domain experts across multiple decisions.
Pools are managed in your team's settings and are available to all team members when setting up a decision.
BUILD YOUR ADVISORY NETWORK
Over time, your advisor pool becomes a curated network of trusted perspectives. The more decisions they contribute to, the more context they build — making their future input even more valuable.
